Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain accurate records. This position requires a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills and a solid attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment.
- Adhere to established radiologic protocols and procedures.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
- Follow radiation safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of radiology students and new staff members.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic equipment and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
