Operating Room Registered Nurse - Fulltime
We seek a dedicated Operating Room RN to join our hospital surgical team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality perioperative care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures and ensure proper preoperative care.
- Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining a sterile and efficient environment.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition during surgery.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical techs for seamless procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of surgical interventions and patient progress.
- Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Iowa.
- An associate or bachelor's degree in nursing (ASN or BSN) is required.
- BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS certification required within six months.
- Experience in the operating room is preferred, but we are open to training motivated candidates.
- Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills.
