What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Surgeon: Be a vital part of the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures with precision.
- Maintain the OR: Ensure a sterile, safe, and efficient operating room environment before, during, and after surgery.
- Prepare Equipment: Make sure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and fully operational.
- Collaborate: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team to provide excellent patient care.
- Ensure Safety: Follow strict safety protocols and infection control guidelines to maintain the highest standards of care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program.
- Certification: Indiana License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certification in Surgical Technology within 6 months of hire.
- Skills: Detail-oriented, able to handle fast-paced environments, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Composure: Ability to stay calm under pressure and effectively manage competing priorities.
