Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care. This full-time, day shift position offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume department with a supportive team and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Patient Care: Ensure patient comfort and safety while performing radiologic procedures, explaining the process to patients and addressing their concerns.
- Quality Control: Ensure images are of high diagnostic quality while adhering to all safety protocols, including radiation safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work closely with physicians and other medical professionals to deliver the best possible care for patients.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information, procedures, and image quality for medical records.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Licensure: Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
