Where Leadership Meets Legacy
Here, leadership is more than title or tenure. It’s about walking alongside clinicians, therapists, and direct-care staff as they guide patients through deeply personal healing journeys. As Chief Nursing Officer, you won’t just review policies or audit metrics — you’ll shape the culture of care, elevate professional standards, and ensure that every patient interaction reflects our mission: restoring hope and supporting mental wellness.
You’ll serve as a critical advisor to the COO/CMO, partner closely with department directors, and lead by example through every regulatory visit, team meeting, and staffing decision. You’ll be the champion of both day-to-day excellence and the long-view evolution of care models that respond to complex behavioral health needs.
You’ll also be a mentor. You’ll coach new nurse leaders, support professional development pathways, and build systems that nurture growth, resilience, and pride across nursing services. You’ll model a leadership style that blends accountability with compassion — and you’ll be the anchor in moments of pressure, when steady guidance matters most.
The Region That Renews You
Outside the walls of the hospital, life takes on a gentler rhythm in this corner of western Maryland. Rolling foothills stretch toward the horizon, dotted with farm stands, historic barns, and winding backroads that open into lush forests. This is the kind of region where families gather on porches for summer dinners, neighbors wave as they pass, and the pace of life invites deep breaths and real connection.
Known for its accessibility to nature and proximity to major cities, the area offers a best-of-both-worlds lifestyle. You can spend your mornings hiking along wooded trails or paddling calm waterways, and your evenings exploring a growing food and arts scene rooted in local pride. Independent bookstores, farmers markets, and community festivals bring a vibrant spirit to small-town streets, while just a short drive away, you’ll find access to major urban hubs including Washington D.C. and Baltimore.
The community here understands the importance of behavioral health. That means you’ll find not only professional respect, but local gratitude — the kind of sincere thank-you that comes from patients and families who feel seen, heard, and supported.
Whether you’re raising a family, building a legacy, or simply craving a deeper connection to your work and surroundings, this is a place where life and leadership align.
What We’re Looking For
You are more than a strategic thinker. You’re a purpose-driven leader who brings clarity to complexity and warmth to every interaction. You see both the big picture and the patient at the bedside. You’re passionate about mental health and ready to lead the nursing workforce that makes compassionate care possible.
If you’re energized by complexity, steady under pressure, and committed to building systems that empower people — we want to meet you.
Let’s Redefine Behavioral Health Leadership — Together
If you’re ready to lead with purpose, guide with clarity, and transform care through innovation and empathy, we invite you to apply today. Join a team that honors your expertise, supports your growth, and gives you space to make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and the community.
This is your moment to lead boldly — in a role where your work matters, your team thrives, and your community grows stronger with every decision you make.
