Now Hiring: Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Box Elder, Montana
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our diagnostic imaging team in Box Elder, MT. In this full-time role, you’ll play a key role in performing essential nuclear medicine procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and collaborating with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality diagnostic care to our patients in a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to safety standards and regulations
- Operate nuclear imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners
- Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac, bone, thyroid, and renal imaging
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Educate and reassure patients during procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Certification or certification-eligible through ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB
- BLS certification required
- Strong understanding of nuclear medicine imaging protocols, radiopharmaceuticals, and safety practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
