What You'll Do:
Deliver Patient Care:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical needs
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and carry out medical procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans for each patient
Monitor Patient Progress:
- Continuously observe and document patients' conditions, making timely adjustments to care plans as needed
- Ensure patients' safety and comfort while responding to any changes in their health status
Patient Education:
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and recovery plans
- Guide patients in self-care, healthy lifestyle changes, and post-discharge plans
Collaborate with Healthcare Teams:
- Work alongside doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, holistic care
- Participate in daily rounds, provide updates on patient progress, and contribute to care coordination
Ensure High Standards of Care:
- Adhere to best practices and hospital policies to maintain patient safety and comfort
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
