Certified Surgical Technologist Job Responsibilities 

• Prepare for Surgical Procedures: Ensure that all equipment, instrumentation, and supplies are prepared and ready for surgical procedures. 
• Assist Surgeons and Medical Teams: Work closely with surgeons, registered nurses, and other OR personnel to provide direct support during procedures. 
• Handle Stressful Situations Calmly: Identify and manage high-pressure moments with tact and professionalism. 
• Maintain Sterility: Uphold the highest standards of sterile technique during surgeries to ensure patient safety. 
• Adapt to New Responsibilities: Stay flexible and take on new tasks as needed to support the surgical team. 

Job Requirements 

• Licensure & Certifications: 
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program. 
• AHA BLS certification required (within 30 days of hire). 
• Current North Carolina state Surgical Technologist Registration. 
• Skills & Experience: 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment. 
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures. 
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented healthcare setting.
