RN – Medical Surgical Nurse

Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Iowa (or compact state license)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS required within 12 months of hire
- Experience in inpatient nursing, med-surg, or hospital care preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively during night hours in a collaborative care setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive bedside care to medical-surgical patients during overnight shifts
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with providers and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Support a safe and respectful environment for patients and colleagues
- Work scheduled 12-hour night shifts, including some weekends and holidays
