Registered Nurse – Cardiac Acute Care – Night Shift

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN or MSN preferred)
- Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
- BLS certification required at time of hire
- ACLS and completion of Critical Care Course required within 12 months of hire
- Dysrhythmia course required within 6 months of hire
- National certification in cardiac or critical care preferred
- Must complete 8 hours of stroke education annually
- Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program within 6 months of hire (if not already graduated) and complete degree within three years
What You Will Do:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute cardiac setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess vital signs, and respond to changes in patient status
- Develop individualized plans of care using evidence-based practice
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and interdisciplinary team members
- Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
- Supervise delegated tasks and support patient safety initiatives
