ARRT CT Scan Technologist Opportunity
MLR is currently hiring a Certified CT Scan Technologist to join our client’s innovative radiology team near Jamestown, New Mexico!
Key Responsibilities for CT Scan Technologist:
- Operate CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans with precision and care, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnoses.
- Review physician orders and patient histories to ensure appropriate imaging procedures are conducted.
- Work closely with radiologists to interpret and analyze CT scans, providing detailed results for clinical assessments.
- Monitor and guide patients through the scanning process, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to guarantee smooth, efficient operations and minimize downtime.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for both patients and staff.
- Keep accurate records of all procedures and patient data within the hospital's electronic system, maintaining patient confidentiality.
CT Scan Technologist Requirements:
- Certification as a CT Technologist through ARRT (CT) is required.
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in New Mexico is required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred.
