We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead CT Technologist to join our esteemed diagnostic imaging team in Elmhurst, NY. Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of CT technologists, ensuring high-quality imaging standards are maintained
- Perform CT scans, and assist with X-ray and MRI procedures, while overseeing the technical and procedural aspects of the department
- Provide leadership in imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting when needed
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results
- Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures, patient records, and equipment maintenance
- Uphold and promote a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and quality care
- Assist with training and mentoring new staff and students, providing guidance and fostering professional development within the team
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (Bachelor’s preferred)
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- ARRT (MR) certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain
- BLS certification
- Proven experience in CT imaging with strong knowledge of protocols, safety, and positioning
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred, but not required
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
