Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to evaluate cardiovascular health, playing a key role in providing accurate diagnoses and supporting treatment plans.
Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist Job Requirements:
- Registered by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as:
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), or
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
- Registered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as:
- RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer), or
- RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within 30 days of employment required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification within 6 months of employment preferred
Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist Key Responsibilities:
- Perform non-invasive diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and other cardiovascular imaging exams.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare providers to interpret ultrasound results for diagnosing conditions like heart disease, valve disorders, and blood flow abnormalities.
- Adjust equipment settings to ensure high-quality images based on patient size and condition.
- Prepare and educate patients before procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
