ARRT Sonographer

MLR is seeking a certified ARRT Sonographer to join our diagnostic imaging team. As a Sonographer, you will utilize ultrasound technology to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination.
Sonographer Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Sonography.
- Valid Ohio Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility to obtain one.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to patient care.

Sonographer Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow for accurate diagnosis.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound exams by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
- Ensure high-quality imaging by adjusting equipment settings and positioning patients correctly to capture the most accurate images.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting procedures and communicating relevant findings to the medical team.
