Registered Nurse Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Med-Surg RN, you’ll play a vital role in providing care to a diverse patient population with a wide range of medical conditions. You will be responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with acute and chronic conditions on a medical-surgical unit.
- Accurately assess, monitor, and document patient status using the electronic health record (EHR).
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and carry out physician-ordered interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Support patients through pre- and post-operative recovery, pain management, and discharge education.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medications, and ongoing care needs.
Registered Nurse Qualifications:
- Active RN license (in good standing).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Solid clinical judgment and strong assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy hospital setting.
