Chief Radiation Therapist Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of radiation therapists to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Oversee the administration of radiation therapy treatments, ensuring patient safety and treatment accuracy.
- Develop, implement, and maintain radiation therapy protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage departmental operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training.
- Maintain and troubleshoot radiation therapy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Stay current with advancements in radiation therapy and ensure ongoing professional development for the team.
Chief Radiation Therapist Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in radiation therapy, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
