Surgical Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team in Wilbur, Oregon. In this important role, you will help prepare the operating room, maintain a sterile field during surgeries, and provide support to the surgical team. Your contributions will ensure that our patients receive safe, efficient, and effective care during their procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room by ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile and properly arranged
- Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures, assisting the surgical team by passing instruments and materials
- Perform surgical counts before, during, and after surgeries to ensure instruments are accounted for
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping the surgical site
- Clean and restock the operating room after each surgery
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
- Accurately document surgical counts and patient data in medical records
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to provide excellent patient care
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic techniques, and operating room procedures
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
