Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Greet patients, verify their identity, assist with procedure preparation, and clearly explain the process and expectations.
- Accurately position patients for imaging and inform them about the procedure.
- Select and apply appropriate technical factors based on patient characteristics and pathology.
- Capture and process high-quality, interpretable images.
- Perform adult echocardiography and stress/echo tests with precision.
- Maintain work logs, collaborate with physicians on protocols, and provide preliminary reports.
- Adhere to system policies to ensure high-quality service delivery and patient care.
Echocardiography Sonographer Requirements:
- Experience in adult echocardiography and stress/echo tests.
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
- RDCS and ARDMS certification.
- BLS certification.
