We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our diagnostic imaging team in Turbeville, SC. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established safety standards and regulations
- Operate nuclear imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac, bone, thyroid, and renal imaging
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Educate and comfort patients during procedures to ensure a smooth and positive experience
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Certification or certification-eligible through ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB
- BLS certification required
- Strong understanding of nuclear medicine protocols, radiopharmaceutical handling, and imaging procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
