MLR Healthcare is partnering with a respected healthcare system to recruit a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor & Delivery/Recovery unit. This full-time position offers varied shifts, with the schedule to be discussed during the interview. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to women and children using the scientific nursing process.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and positive outcomes.
- Adhere to the Texas Nurse Practice Act and actively participate in committees, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives.
Acute Care Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or Associate Degree).
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- No prior experience required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- CPR-BCLS certification.
- Labor & Delivery: ACLS and NRP (to be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- NICU: NRP (to be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- Pediatrics: PALS or ENPC (to be obtained within 18 months of hire).
