Director of Sales Job Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Sales Strategies:
- Design and implement sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and customer segments.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Lead and Mentor the Sales Team:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set performance metrics and provide coaching to achieve team goals.
Cultivate Client Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Represent mlee.com at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our platform.
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Collaborate Across Departments:
- Work closely with marketing to align sales strategies with campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
- Provide feedback to the product team to refine offerings based on market needs.
- Partner with executives to set strategic direction and drive company-wide objectives.
Manage Sales Operations:
- Oversee forecasting, reporting, and budget management for the sales department.
- Optimize sales processes, tools, and technologies for efficiency and scalability.
- Analyze data to identify trends, track performance, and inform decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a sales leader, preferably in SaaS, healthcare, or HR technology.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a leadership role.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans and drive results.
- Experience managing and developing sales teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
