Surgical Technologist

We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Surgical Technologist to become an integral part of our surgical team. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a sterile environment, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring patient safety throughout each procedure. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
- Maintain a sterile field during surgery and assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies
- Perform surgical counts before, during, and after the procedure to ensure accuracy
- Position patients and assist with prepping them for surgery
- Clean and restock the operating room following surgeries
- Work closely with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and efficient procedures
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, sterile environment
- Document surgical counts, patient information, and any other necessary details
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and operating room protocols
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
