Occupational Therapist
MLR is collaborating with a respected healthcare system to hire a skilled Occupational Therapist for a full-time position. This role involves working Monday through Friday, with one Saturday shift per month. The Occupational Therapist will develop and manage individualized treatment plans, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans in line with occupational therapy standards.
- Program Implementation: Design and adjust therapy programs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Staff Supervision: Lead and provide guidance to occupational therapy assistants, technicians, and support staff.
- Equipment Management: Utilize and maintain rehabilitation equipment efficiently.
Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Licensure: Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas or eligibility for licensure.
- Certifications: Current CPR certification.
- Driver’s License: Valid Texas Driver’s License required for HMC Designated Drivers (if applicable).
- Skills: Proficient in rehabilitation techniques and equipment usage.
