Make Every Image Matter in a Place Where Heritage and Nature Meet
If you're an experienced Ultrasound Technologist who finds fulfillment in providing answers, easing uncertainty, and contributing to care that truly changes lives, this could be exactly where you’re meant to be. Here, your expertise is more than technical — it’s personal. You’ll be part of a team that recognizes the quiet power of diagnostic imaging and respects the role you play in moments that matter. Whether you’re guiding a patient through their first ultrasound or delivering insights that lead to life-saving decisions, your work will be seen, valued, and supported every step of the way.
You’ll thrive in a setting that balances cutting-edge technology with a people-first approach to healthcare. Our imaging department is calm, collaborative, and committed to giving every patient a clear path forward. You’ll have access to reliable equipment, a responsive care team, and leadership that encourages ongoing growth — professionally and personally.
What Your Days Will Look Like
In this full-time role with flexible scheduling, you’ll perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies. You’ll adjust scanning parameters with precision, ensure patient comfort from start to finish, and work closely with radiologists to support timely, accurate diagnoses. Beyond the technical aspects, your interpersonal presence will make a lasting impression — whether you’re answering questions with clarity or simply creating a calm environment during an emotional appointment. You'll document findings clearly, stay compliant with healthcare standards, and keep equipment functioning at its best.
Why This Team — and This Region — Just Feel Right
Here, you’re more than a job title — you’re a vital part of a mission-driven team that takes pride in quality care and quiet excellence. We believe in treating each other the way we treat our patients: with trust, encouragement, and mutual respect. You’ll have space to build your career, deepen your skills, and connect with colleagues who show up for each other every day.
Beyond the work itself, the setting is something truly special. Surrounded by tree-covered hills and nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this region is a blend of scenic beauty and cultural depth. You’ll find historic homes beside lively college campuses, riverfront parks just minutes from bustling cafés, and a pace of life that invites both reflection and connection. Four seasons here each have their charm — from crisp mountain autumns to summers spent hiking, paddling, or enjoying local music in the park. It’s the kind of place that offers the best of both worlds: nature and intellect, tradition and progress, stillness and stimulation.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and active certification through ARDMS or ARRT-S. At least one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred, though strong new grads with confidence and compassion are welcome to apply. You should be comfortable with a wide range of scan types, fluent in anatomy and imaging software, and ready to bring your best to every exam room.
Let’s Do Work That Resonates — Together
If you’re ready to join a team that supports your expertise and surrounds you with a community that feels like home, we’d love to connect. Apply today and bring your clarity, compassion, and commitment to a place where your work truly matters — in every scan and every step.
