We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our diagnostic imaging team in Mccleary, WA. In this full-time role, you’ll perform vital nuclear medicine procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and work alongside healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established safety standards and regulations
- Operate nuclear imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners
- Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac, bone, thyroid, and renal imaging
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Educate and reassure patients throughout procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of care
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Certification or certification-eligible through ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB
- BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine protocols, radiopharmaceutical handling, and imaging procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
