Nuclear Medicine Technologist – NMT
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our dynamic diagnostic imaging team in Silver Creek, WA. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and collaborating with physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established safety standards and protocols
- Operate nuclear imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac, bone, thyroid, and renal imaging
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures
- Educate and comfort patients during procedures, providing information and support throughout the process
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Certification or certification-eligible through ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB
- BLS certification required
- In-depth knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging protocols, radiopharmaceutical handling, and radiation safety practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in nuclear medicine preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
